Joanne Farrell, Licensee at Robinsons’ owned Windsor Castle pub, situated in Marple Bridge, has been awarded the BII (British Institute of Innkeeping) Heart of the Community Award, which recognising her continuous efforts of going above and beyond for her community.
The pub is widely known not just for its delicious real ale but for its charitable events within the community. From helping the homeless to hosting royal events, the Windsor Castle is a strong community focused pub, with long-serving licensee Joanne Farrell, who has been at the pub for over ten years, at the heart of it all.
Joanne said: “I am delighted to be able to help our community in these difficult times, we hope everybody stays safe and we look forward to welcoming everybody back when we reopen.
