Gluten-free beer available at Great British Beer Festival Winter

CAMRA has confirmed that there will be a range of gluten-free beers available for festival-goers at its upcoming Great British Beer Festival Winter, taking place from 20-24 February in the Halls, Norwich.

There will be a dedicated gluten-free line on the world beer bar in the venue’s main hall with beers from the Nene Valley Brewery, Burnt Mill Brewery and Redwell Brewery.

There will be bottled beer available from Green’s Beer, a dedicated gluten-free beer crafter, and the Westerham Brewery, as well as gluten-free cask beers from the Norfolk Brewhouse and Nene Valley Brewery. Most of these beers use Brewer Clarix to make them gluten-free, while some of Green’s Beers use historic grains to achieve the result.

Martin Ward, the Great British Beer Festival Winter organiser says: “It is incredibly important to us that all of our attendees feel they are provided for at our festival. Gluten-free beer is an essential ingredient to inclusivity and we are therefore ensuring that there are gluten-free options for those who have to, or choose to, avoid gluten.

We hope that every guest feels their needs are met and that there is something for them at  the Great British Beer Festival Winter.”

The Great British Beer Festival Winter is taking place from the 20th – 24th February, with special events taking place in pubs as part of the fringe throughout the entire month. Tickets for the festival can be purchased online, and will also be available at the door. More information about our World Beer Bar can be found here.
