Purity wins hat trick of awards

Purity Brewing Company is celebrating another award hat-trick after picking up three honours at two different regional ceremonies.

The eco-friendly brewery picked up winner’s gongs for both Small Business and Fast Growth Business of the Year at the West Midlands Business Masters awards, followed closely by a winning vote for Mad Goose, which was named Best Bitter at the Wolverhampton CAMRA Beer & Cider Festival.

The Masters awards recognised the brewery’s outstanding growth over the past 12 months, as well as its development and growth in performance as a small business with less than 50 employees.

Judges said: “Purity has a growing reputation and the financial performance to match, doubling its sales in two years while significantly increasing its profit margins.

“The strength of the entries for the awards meant that only the very best companies made it onto the shortlist and they should all be very proud of their success.”

And, just like its dearly-departed namesake from the brewery farm in Warwickshire, Mad Goose refused to take a break from the limelight, with the zesty pale ale taking home another award in amongst some extremely high quality bitters at CAMRA’s Wolverhampton festival.

Purity MD Paul Halsey, comments: “Our continued growth and these latest business awards are a result of the Purity family’s dedication to brewing, supplying and enjoying great beer, as well the fantastic support we get from our beloved Puritans. Thank you to all of you – and to the mad goose who inspired a beer that’s still being recognised over ten years later.”
