Orderella, the new beer ordering app for pub goers

Orderella is an App which has been developed to help customers order their food and drink from the comfort of their bar stool or even before entering the pub.

With just a few clicks, customers can quickly order and pay for drinks from their stored debit or credit card, collecting them from a delivery point or having them served at their table.

King William IV in Kempston is one of the first pubs in Bedfordshire to use the new phone app Orderella, which is set to a hit a number of pubs over the coming months. Landlord Karl Hill, said: “It’s a really great app and I’m really excited that we are launching it tomorrow, ahead of many of the chains.

“Basically if you’re standing at the bar and there’s a queue you can order through the app and then by the time you get to the bar the drinks will be waiting for you. Or if you’re sitting at a
table already you can order food or your drinks and request whether to pick it up from the table or have them brought over to you.”

Oakman Inns started using the app over Easter 2014 and Peter Borg Neal, CEO of Oakman Inns, commented: “We’re incredibly excited to launch Orderella across all of our sites, and think the Bank Holiday weekend will be the perfect time to kick it off. We want our guests to enjoy themselves and relax, without worrying about queuing for their next drink.”

Orderella is also being trialled at 40 Star Pubs & Bars, the leased pub division of leading cider and beer business, Heineken UK  before being potentially rolled out to a total of 1,200 of the business’s venues. Fuller’s is also trialling it at the Parcel Yard at Kings Cross in London.

The app which was trialled in 2013 is free to download and available on smart phones. Further information at Orderella
