Greene King Brewery’s Rocking Rudolph back with launch of Macmillan donation

Greene King, the Suffolk-based pub company and brewer, will be bringing back Rocking Rudolph ale for the festive season, but this year will see the introduction of a donation from every pint going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

For each pint sold of the popular Rocking Rudolph, Greene King will give 5p to the charity and the money raised will help Macmillan continue to provide vital care and support for people living with cancer. This is one of many fundraising efforts from the UK’s leading pub and brewer company, which has been in partnership with Macmillan for 10 years and has raised over £13 million to date.

The seasonal cask ale favourite is a 4.2% full bodied ale with fruity esters and a malted toffee taste, as well as a crisp bitter finish, providing a perfect taste of festive cheer. The exclusive ale, which has been the number one Christmas ale in the on-trade for the last eight years*, is part of Greene King’s seasonal calendar and will be available throughout November and December.

Jack Palmer, Head Brewer at Greene King Brewery, said: “It’s always an exciting time when Rocking Rudolph returns with its memorable flashing hand pull and this year, we are proud to be supporting Macmillan with a donation from every festive pint.

“Christmas is about coming together and with Rocking Rudolph this year, guests and outlets will be able to share their support for such an important cause.”
