Great British Beer Festival 2014

2014 Great British Beer Festival
London Olympia 12-16th August

 Britain’s Biggest Beer Festival

The UK’s biggest beer festival, which this year has a circus theme complete with live action performers is now on at London Olympia. The winner of the Champion Beer of Britain is Boltmaker brewed by Timothy Taylor. The brewery has previously won the award for Landlord

The Great British Beer Festival, which is in its 37th year, is organised and run wholly by volunteers from the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) and will showcase over 900 real ales, ciders and perries from across the UK plus specially chosen international beers that are rarely seen on these shores.

This year the festival will have its World famous doors opened by “The Beer Master” for the first time ever. The top hat-wearing, moustachioed ringmaster is part of this year’s spectacular circus theme, with live action circus performers including  jugglers, clowns and unicyclists entertaining crowds at the Festival’s opening on Tuesday the 12th of August.

Over 55,000 people are expected to attend the week-long event, which will this year feature more than 350 British Breweries alongside fantastic international brews.
