Cellar Matters training session Leicester 12/11/2014

An evening session talking through the key principles and practices of the last, make-or-break, link in our supply chain – the cellar to the bar. This is a free joint event organised by the IBD Midland Section and JD Wetherspoon White House team, its down-to-basics, practical and principals-based event will be of interest to a wide range of brewers, quality and cellar teams.

Three presentations through the evening:

  • A Review of Beer Cooling covering storage, pipe runs and cooling capacity by Steve Housden, Technical Services Consultant and Cask Marque Assesor
  • Cellar and Cask Conditioning Best Practices by Simon Best, Cask Marque Assessor and Trainer
  • Guest Speaker to be finalised.

The White House team are hosting us in the superb function room of this, the jewel in the crown of JD Wetherspoon’s East Midlands estate. It is on the east of Leicester city and close to all major travel networks in the area.
