Beer Tasting and Brewery Open Day – Saturday 24th September
Ruby the Bus will be offering beer samples, promoting Palmers’ local pubs and their activity throughout CAW as well as giving away up to 100 free brewery tours to take place that day. Dorset Gold port sausages in a Tally Ho! Bun will be on offer cooked by one of our licensees.
Tour de Palmers – Sunday 2nd October
Encouraging around 60+ people to attend a fun cycle ride around 15 Palmers pubs trying our real ale, with a Palmers-sponsored family BBQ on the finish line
Promotion: Seasonal ale launch and offer of FOC pins of ale for participating pubs who take part in either quizzes, food matching, tutored cask tastings etc.

Thursday 22nd Sept. To coincide with the opening of Cask Ale Week, the team at Sambrook’s will be showcasing their darts skills at the Bull and The Hide Liverpool St. in London. The evening will feature three Sambrook’s cask products on the bar alongside London Pale Ale.
Friday 23rd September. In the hope that this Indian Summer keeps on giving, Sambrook’s will have an outside bar at The Antelope, London SW17 presenting local breweries as part of Tootopia. Sambrooks will be talking beer, dishing out samples and pulling pints as part of Tooting’s annual food and drink pilgrimage.
Thursday 29th& Friday 30th September, Saturday 1st October. In the hidden gem that is Sambrook’s tap room bar, you’ll find the finest hospitality, views out over the brewery below and a showcase of a full range of cask ales including the final ever cask of Barley Wine No.5. This delicious ale was brewed for Sambrook’s Fifth birthday and has been maturing for the past three years; there’s a limited volume so come early to avoid disappointment.

The Rashleigh has a Brewery Break which includes two nights’ accommodation and a trip to St Austell Brewery for a look around the new-look visitor centre and interactive brewing experience, as well as beer sampling. The break is due to run until the end of October
Beer and Food matching event on 28th of September at the White Swan in Fence, hosted by Annabel Smith. The ticket price is £55 per person for 5 courses which are expertly matched to 5 Timothy Taylor beers.

THWAITES PUBS, INNS OF CHARACTER AND SHIRE HOTELS
Consumers can enjoy a range of great quality cask ales at mini beer festivals in select Thwaites Pubs, Inns of Character and Shire Hotels this Cask Ale Week. Working with smaller, guest breweries, pubs will be offering a range of 5 cask ales, varying in style, ABV and flavour, making sure there is something for everyone!
A beer brewed by a Bury pub tenant, Chris McClung, from The Black Bull, is to go on sale in pubs across the country to mark Cask Ale Week. Named “Gold Bullion”, it is a golden ale, gently hopped with a hint of fruit and will be available in around 80 Thwaites pubs from September 12.
WATCHMAKER’S ARMS Hove, East Sussex

- To celebrate the first day of Cask Ale Week on Thursday 22nd September, The Watchmaker’s will be launching a brand new Green Hop English Pale ale from Beercraft Brighton. The fuggle hops were grown in their garden in Hove and it was brewed on the premises so it is a very#localale. They will also be showcasing some of the new cask ales from the Hand Brew Co, a new Brighton brewery based at the Hand in Hand in Kemptown. Brewer Jack Tavare will be on hand to talk all things brewing and answer any question you have about his Beercraft Brighton and The Hand In Hand .
