Brewology launches new products

Leeds based start-up, Brewology has launched a brand new range of machines developed for micro-breweries.

In less than a year Brewology’s small team has not only completed a major brew-house project for brewing giant C&C group, but has worked with many of the country’s leading breweries, servicing and installing machinery.

Back in December however, Brewology’s Managing Director David Midgley realised there was a growing need for reliable UK-made cask washing and filling machines. “There is currently no one making cask fillers in the UK and we were receiving calls on an almost daily basis asking for them.” David and his team of engineers set about designing and manufacturing an affordable, robust cask washer and filler based on industry needs.

“We’ve been in this industry for many years, working with other companies and manufacturers” says David. “We know our customers and spent time asking them what was important to them and what they needed in their brewery. The machines we manufactured are an accumulation of everything we have learnt over the years and everything we have been told in our market research.”

The Tornado Cask Washer range and the Evolution Cask Filling range were designed, manufactured and built in the new Brewology factory in Leeds, West Yorkshire and launched to the market in May. The Tornado Cask Washer is designed to clean to the highest standards in the industry using tried and tested methods developed over the last 30 years combined with the latest of technologies. The Evolution Cask Filler (Cask Racker) is designed to fill casks in a controlled method reducing beer fobbing complete with inline finings injection as standard.

David’s number one aim is to work with breweries to help them save time, money and beer loss whilst increasing performance and quality. He is passionate about the industry and believes the future of Brewology is in the company’s high quality manufacturing and state-of-the-art brewery software offering.
