Beer Now is a new conference that focuses on marketing, tourism, and communications for today’s beer industry. The conference will take place during SIBA’s BeerX at iceSheffield from March 17-19.
The Keynote speaker is Bob Pease, President & CEO of the US-based Brewers Association who will be speaking on changes to the American craft beer market in marketing, communication and tourism.
Speaking about the line-up of speakers for Beer Now, organiser Allan Wright said:
“We are looking forward to welcoming so many excellent speakers to the Beer Now conference in March. The Brewers Association’s remit is to promote small and independent brewers in the US and Bob Pease will speak about marketing and communications trends in a beer market which has grown very significantly in the last few years. Delegates will be able to find out which trends may be coming to the UK and rest of Europe and learn from the US experience.
“We are also very excited to have Jean-Louis Van de Perre, Chairman of the Belgian Brewers, speaking on Beer Tourism and Beer Culture. Belgium is leading the world, from its Trappist breweries to its beer culture being recently designated as a UNESCO World Heritage to the forthcoming “temple to Belgium beer” planned for the previous Brussels stock exchange building. There is no one better to hear from about Belgium, its beer culture, and why it is leading the world in beer tourism than Jean-Louis Van de Perre and we are delighted that we will have two national association leaders addressing Beer Now.”
