Day 9 Beer of the Day

We have a last-minute entry for today’s beer of the day from Nathan of Cask Marque HQ.

When you’re asked to choose just one beer as your favourite, it’s a tough decision for everyone.

For Nathan it was heartbreaking and he has been debating this for a while! He wanted to nominate something really unusual for all of our followers, but when all is said and done, this is his winner.

Ghost Ship by Adnams is Nathan’s absolute favourite beer, and his go-to, year-round choice. He enjoys the citrus flavour of the beer.

Ghost Ship is inspired by one of Adnams’ most haunted pubs in one of the UK’s most haunted villages, The Bell at Walbserswick. The shores of Walberswick are littered with eerie wrecks of smugglers ships from a bygone erea.

Ghost Ship is a 4.5% Pale Ale brewed with Pale Ale, Rye, Crystal and Cara malts, plus Citra and a blend of other American hops to create a great citrus flavour. You can watch a video from Adnams Head Brewer Fergus talking about the beer here.
