BBPA launches new website to showcase sustainability initiatives

The British Beer & Pub Association has launched a new website to highlight the sustainability initiatives and innovations of the sector.

BrewingGreen.org contains over 35 new case studies from brewers, pub operators and supply chain companies across the UK, explaining in detail and with illustrations the measures they are taking to combat climate change and contribute to the sector’s pathway to net-zero.

The website reinforces the sector’s commitments to reducing the it’s environmental impacts and features some of the latest initiatives by UK brewers and pub operators, including Asahi, Budweiser Brewing Group UK & I, Greene King, Heineken, Molson Coors, Wadworth, St Austell Brewery and Punch. Also included are initiatives from companies linked with the brewing and pub supply chain including raw materials and ingredients suppliers and distribution partners.

The website also includes details on both the Hospitality and Brewing roadmaps to net zero. It will be updated on a regular basis to feature new initiatives and to follow the journey the sector makes as it strives to reach it’s ambitious net zero goals.
