The Cask Masterclass is designed to be delivered in your own site. After booking, a qualified assessor/trainer will contact you to make an appointment to visit at a time and date convenient to you.
In addition to expert tutoring and hands-on training, the assessor will carry out a full bar and cellar hygiene audit with you, benchmarking you against the industry and leave an advisory action plan.
By the end of the course attendees will:
- Understand the difference between cask and keg beer
- Understand why cask beer needs conditioning
- Know the importance of hygiene, temperature and stock control in the cellar
- Know the Best Before dates on delivery
- Know how to settle, vent and tap cask beer
- Be able to identify when cask beer is fully conditioned
