Woodforde’s enhances its summer ale trail

Woodforde’s brewery has confirmed that its Ale Trail will return this year and that it will be accompanied by the launch of a new App.

The brewery is compiling a trail guide containing details of participating pubs across East Anglia and London. Drink a pint of Woodforde’s in a participating pub and you’ll get a sticker. The more stickers you collect the more prizes you can redeem in the Woodforde’s shop, from poly pins of ale to mixed cases of bottled beers. The launch of their mobile App in addition to the guide book will make navigating and exploring pubs even easier.

Tim Ridley, manager of The Fur and Feather Inn in Woodbastwick, said: “The Ale Trail is brilliant for pubs and ale aficionados alike. We’ve always found that the ale trail increases footfall but we hope that the app will attract new or younger customers, eager to continue their journey into the world of real ale!”

The App will launch to coincide with the start of the Ale Trail on 21st June and will run until 30th September 2015. To find out more about the Ale Trail or to register to be one of the first to download the new App visit woodfordesaletrail.co.uk.
